Established in 1855 and having recently celebrated 160 years of racing, the Apsley Racing Club is the oldest surviving racing club in Victoria and even predates the Melbourne Cup, which was first held in 1861!

Hosting its annual event over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend in June, the DiGiorgio Family Wines Apsley Cup will be celebrating 163 years on Sunday 10 June 2018 at the Edenhope Racecourse. But it's not just about racing, with the region's 'stay and play' weekend boasting the Tour de Frances cycling event on Saturday - with distances for all levels of cyclists. Of course the Cup on the Sunday, With Fashions on the Field, live entertainment and a variety of food vendors showcasing the regions food and wine, the DiGiorgio Family Wines Apsley Cup has got it all.

Apsley welcomes children to the races and offers a special Very Important People (VIP) space for education and entertainment throughout the day.

Whether it's your first time visiting the Apsley Cup, or you are a seasonal racegoer, this exciting experience invites you to get up close to the rails, feel the thundering from the hooves and enjoy celebrities and celebrations in the winner’s circle close by.
